Beautiful restaurant tucked away in a Liverpool park serving pizza, cheese boards and more

Liverpool has no shortage of sun traps to sit and relax with an ice cold drink, but they’ll undoubtedly fill up quickly with the sun making an appearance.

Bars and restaurants across Liverpool have opened their doors this month after weeks of closure, with many eager to get back to their favourite spaces.

If you’re looking for somewhere a bit lesser known, there’s a new little gem in South Liverpool that is well worth seeking out.

Summer Eats in The Secret Garden has launched at Calderstones Park, courtesy of The Reader, and it’s exclusive to weekends in July and August.

Set in the private gardens of the iconic Mansion House, The Secret Garden offers a specially crafted menu featuring homemade pizza, fresh salads and favourites such as halloumi fries too.

On Saturdays, The Secret Garden is also offering continental meats, Spanish olives and artisan cheese boards from the Liverpool Cheese Company.
