'Beautiful' new 2023/24 Chelsea home kit design emerges with Champions League prediction made

A new 'leak' of Chelsea's home kit for the 2023/24 season has emerged online with fans left gasping at the beauty of it. With the current season approaching its conclusion the attention is being turned towards the next campaign in more ways than one.

Not only are the new owners planning ahead for the transfers and latest developments when it comes to Stamford Bridge, they will be preparing for the style associated with the club as well.

Having taken over the club in May 2022, by which point the majority of all kit work, design and early production will have been completed, the next jersey is set to be one that could truly represent them.

In an image posted on Twitter by user @CFC15RAZ, the potential new kit is shown in real form for the first time. Concepts of next year's top had been released previously, courtesy of information and designs from footyheadlines, but the newest images add a new dimension.

In the standard base blue, the exciting new number has a sharp gold badge and shirt sponsor outline - something that is yet to be confirmed for the new term - alongside golden edges on the shirt sleves.

There is also a noticeable pattern on the chest and shoulders to add texture to the shirt. It mirrors the 2012/13 Champions League celebratory colour style too with the Nike logo also in block gold.

The sleeves have a cuff with dark blue, gold and white rings around the edges adding fresh design to the shirt as well as white patches underneath the sleeves and towards the underarm area.

The biggest decision left for Chelsea when it comes to finalising their kit will be an administrative choice, confirming a new main sponsor. Three's deal ends this season and isn't expected to continue, leaving a massive £60m-a-season hole in the books for Todd Boehly and Co to make up.

Sponsors themselves can make or break the popularity of a shirt due to its look on the chest but in this instance the kit itself does the job with early reaction extremely positive. One user wrote: "This is so clean" whilst another added: "Beautiful if it is [real.]!"
