Beautiful Finglas tribute after popular mum-of-three taken from family too soon

North Dublin locals had a fitting tribute for a Dublin mum-of-three who sadly died on Wednesday.

Everyone in the Finglas area would be familiar with Rose O'Connell who passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by family this week.

The popular woman was dubbed the 'Queen of Returns' by colleagues in the local Dealz shop where she worked who paid tributes online following the news of her passing.

They said: "It's with the deepest sadness that we let you know our colleague Rose O'Connell has passed away peacefully.

"Rose was widely known around the area and In the store for her happy smile and cheerful attitude (and her high heels and returns basket). She will be dearly missed."

On Thursday night, family and friends took to the streets to release balloons into the air for Rose in what was a beautiful final send-off for the local lady.

Her RIP.ie notice reads: "Late of Dealz, Finglas. Peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family. Beloved mother of Paul, Gemma and Joy.

"Rose will be sadly missed and remembered with love by her children, grandchildren Kain, Ava, Kyle, Charlotte and Carly, brother Bob, sisters Rita, Kay and Sue, sister-in-law Mary, brothers-in-law Danny and Billy, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours, friends and colleague's’ from Dealz and all who knew and loved her."
