Joe Lolley described Nottingham Forest’s return to form as a beautiful day.
The Reds talisman impressed as Sabri Lamouchi’s charges beat Luton 2-1 at Kenilworth Road and move back into the Championship’s top six after two successive defeats.
Lolley played a pivotal role in what proved to be the winning goal, crossing for Sammy Ameobi to bend an effort into the net, two minutes shy of the hour mark.
By that point, Forest were already well in command courtesy of Lewis Grabban’s fine run and finish in the 39th minute.
Despite a late flurry from the home side, pulling a goal back with three minutes of normal time to go, Forest held firm to rack up a fourth away win of the campaign so far.
The winger, who recently admitted his recent form hadn’t hit the heights it had previously, took to social media to react to a vital three points, while Matty Cash admitted it was a great win ahead of next weekend’s meeting with Derby County.
