'Beautiful' - Arsenal fans love what the club did in heartwarming moment against Leeds United

Arsenal fans have praised the club for their outstanding efforts in helping an autistic child enjoy his first ever match at the Emirates Stadium last night.

As shared on social media site Twitter, at around the midway point of the first-half in the Carabao Cup clash with Leeds United, a father could see that his child was not going to get used to the noise around the stadium, and decided it was best for him and his son to leave.

However, prior to his exit, the father was stopped by a steward, who asked why they were leaving.

She asked him to wait whilst she contacted somebody in the club to permit them to head towards club level, where they could watch the match from a specially-designed sensory room.

The steward's actions helped to create a moment that will live long in the memory of the father and son, and Arsenal's accommodation showed what football is really about.

Gunners fans have now come together to applaud what is a truly beautiful story.

The son's night only got better too, as Mikel Arteta's team went onto win 2-0 to book themselves a place in the quarter-final of the competition.

Calum Chambers, who came on for an injured Ben White in the 55th minute of the game, broke the deadlock with his first touch in the game, heading in an effort from close range.

The Gunners solidified the victory just 14 minutes later when Eddie Nketiah's instinctive bit of forward play led to him tapping in to an open net.

It ultimately meant that there were miles all round at full-time.
