'Beautiful and caring' mum, 24, dies suddenly leaving behind a baby

A young mum who died suddenly has been described as 'beautifully wonderful and caring' by her devastated frineds.

Megan Brannan, 24, leaves behind a young baby, although the circumstances surrounding her death are currently unknown, the Daily Record reports.

Paying tribute to the young mum from Motherwell, Scotland, friend Chloe Stewart said: "Last night I received the worst news a friend ever could.

"My beautifully wonderful, caring, and loving best pal has sadly gained her angel wings.

“You did not deserve this. Life is so cruel.”

Lauren Ross added: “Absolutely devastating to hear the news of another young life taken far too soon !

“Anytime I saw you, you were always smiling and laughing away and really did brighten up any room you entered with your infectious personality!”

And Alexandria McPhee posted: “The princess of all princesses. It’s so scary to think someone who was so full of life has been taken from us.

“To see the impact you’ve left in the people behind has taken my breath away, there’s not one person whose life you where in that’s not going to miss you Meg. You made a big impact on everybody you met.

“Your baby girl is your legacy that lives on and your pals and family will never let her forget the amazing, stunning, out there, UNIQUE mother that she had.”

While close friend Sarah Young wrote: “Still can’t get my head around it babe, you were the most amazing crazy unique caring wee woman I even had the pleasure of calling my friend.

“The reef was your true home am just glad you got to take your beautiful wee princess.

“You were a hero in your own right babe and I’ll never forget that that!”

A charity page has since been set up in a bid to raise £2000 for Megan's family who are said to be in the Canary Islands.
