Beats is back with new Studio Buds Plus that are made by Apple but work with Android

Apple might own the popular Beats brand but it's making its earbuds just as easy to use on Android as for those with an iPhone in their pocket. The famous audio firm's new Beats Studio Buds + include fast pairing technology which helps them link to most modern devices, including Google's Pixel and Samsung's Galaxy, without having to dig into endless Bluetooth settings.

They can also be easily found thanks to compatibility with both Apple and Google's find my technology which hopefully means they will never get lost. Users can even blast out an alarm should they slip down the side of the sofa!

The original Beats Studio Buds, which launched in 2021, have become one of the biggest-selling music makers the company has ever created and now they are back with some other big upgrades.

The Studio Buds + not only feature that improved compatibility with more devices but there's also superior Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) and longer battery life. Thanks to the neat charging case, owners can expect a total of around 36 hours of music playback without going near a plug.

Of course, earbuds are all about sound and the Buds + should have this covered thanks to Apple's clever Spatial Audio technology which makes it feel like music is hitting your ears from all directions. Other bonus features include three new acoustic vents which improve audio precision and gently relieve pressure which helps make them more comfy when wearing for extended periods.

Simple touch controls on each bud can pause, play and skip tracks without reaching for your phone plus you can switch off the ANC and allow outside sound into the ear canal via the improved Transparency mode. To make sure you get the perfect fit they also ship with four changeable tips.

One final change is the styling with fans able to buy these earbuds in a striking new transparent option which shows off what's hiding inside.

If that all sounds exciting, they will arrive next month and cost £179.99.

“As our fastest-selling product ever since its launch, Beats Studio Buds are beloved earphones for so many people around the world and we’re thrilled to be taking them to the next level,” said Oliver Schusser, Vice President of Beats and Apple Music.

“With beautiful new colours to choose from and vast improvements to Active Noise Cancellation, Transparency, call performance and battery life, Beats Studio Buds + deliver an unmatched combination of fashion and function for both iOS and Android consumers.”
