
Chicago police are warning Roseland residents about a series of robberies that occurred recently in the South Side community area.
In each incident, a group of six or seven males approached people as they were standing alone, beat them, then stole their property, Chicago police said. In once robbery, one male was holding a gun.
The robberies occurred:
· About 2:30 a.m. July 3 in the first block of West 103rd Street;
· About 1 a.m. July 4 in the 300 block of East 109th Street; and
· About 12:30 a.m. July 8 in the first block of West 95th Street.
The robbers were described as males between 16 and 19 years old wearing dark clothing, police said.
