Beat The Chasers fans weren't happy with The Beast after he made a "creepy" comment about Carol Vorderman.
The Chaser, also known as Mark Labbett, took to Twitter to give his verdict on Carol's appearance on the ITV show.
The mum-of-two, 61, looked sensational on The Chase's spin-off offering sporting a figure-hugging red dress.
However her presence seemed to get The Beast rather hot under the collar as he tweeted: "I don’t know what is more impressive about @carolvorders, her intellect or her more tangible assets #superstar #BeatTheChasers."
Unfortunately Mark's quip didn't go down with viewers, with one replying: "Really? This is 2022 not 1972! A bit creepy and sexist."
Another said: "Bit inappropriate."
A third added: "Bit weird."
While a fourth posted: "Bit creepy!"
However Carol didn't seemed phased by the comment as she jokingly replied: "You beast you..."
The former Countdown star chanced her arm against Chasers Mark, Jenny Ryan and Anne Hegerty.
Fans had high hopes for the Cambridge graduate, however despite a close call Carol didn't manage to beat her opponents and took home just £1,000 for charity.
The Chasers were only two seconds, and one question, away from being beaten as Carol went head-to-head with them on Tuesday's show.
But after passing on four consecutive questions the Pride of Britain host froze and told Bradley Walsh how disappointed she was.
She said: "I can't believe that, I cannot believe it. I just hit those four, and I just couldn't...
"Oh man."
However Carol's performance was the last thing on some fans' minds, with many saying they couldn't get over how good she looked.
Commenting on her surprising loss one viewer tweeted: "Ffs Carol. So close. At least you looked hot tho."
While another flustered fan admitted: "Can't stop staring at the back of Carol's super tight dress."
One viewer went so far as to say the star had "broken the internet' while another playfully asked: "How can Carol Vorderman manage to sit down in that dress?"
