Beat The Chasers contestant using winnings to pay for boyfriend's divorce from wife

A contestant has an odd reason for wanting to win Beat The Chasers tonight - to pay for her boyfriend's divorce.

Tonight, funeral celebrant Sarah Jayne decides to take on the quizzers in an attempt to win some cash.

However she makes a strange admission, leaving host Bradley Walsh stunned.

As she steps up to the stage, Bradley asks: "If you win some money today, what are you going to do with it?"

She wants to pay for boyfriend Andy's divorce (ITV)

"I'm going to pay for my boyfriend to get a divorce," she replies.

A baffled Bradley exclaims: "What is going on?!"

He adds: "Well this has turned into the weirdest show ever!"

Asked what her boyfriend's name is, she replies that it's Andy.

Bradley shouts out to Andy in the audience: "Well there you go, Andy! That's a great gift, isn't it?"

"Very generous," Andy laughs.

"I've got my eye on his pension," she jokes.
