Beat The Chasers contestant completely stumped by weird 'love sausage' question

A Beat The Chasers contestant was left completely speechless by an answer that had host Bradley Walsh choking back laughter.

Contestant Rachel was putting her knowledge to the test in scenes from tonight's episode, as she went up against Chasers Paul Sinha, Jenny Ryan, Anne Hegerty, Mark Labett and Shaun Wallace.

"What heart-shaped Marks & Spencer's product," read Bradley, "became a Valentine's Day Internet sensation in 2019?"

The options were Love Burger, Love Haggis, or Love Sausage.

Bradley struggled to contain his giggles as he read out the options, but hopeful Rachel looked totally stumped.

A recent show saw Bradley and the five Chasers ridicule a contestant for an embarrassing answer to her first question.

Bradley asked mum Chelsea: "In 1907, Parisian waiters went on strike to demand better pay, more time off and the right to grow what?"

The options were nails, moustaches and onions.

"Inexplicably," Bradley told her after she'd given her answer, "You've put onions."

"If this is right," he added, "I'm gonna walk naked down Epping High Street."

The Governess, Anne, meanwhile, just rolled her eyes at the camera as the crowd roared with laughter.

Another contestant announced they would use their winnings to pay for a divorce - for their boyfriend.

Funeral celebrant Sarah Jayne told Bradley that she wanted to use whatever she earned to pay for beau Andy to push through the proceedings.
