Beat The Chasers Bradley Walsh surprised by Dom Joly's voyeuristic confession

Bradley Walsh was left stunned after one Beat The Chasers contestant got candid about a voyeuristic hobby of his.

Dom Joly, 53, made a shocking confession about something he was able to enjoy since one particular purchase.

As he appeared on the ITV show on Saturday, the comedian admitted a new hobby of his that he'd picked up over lockdown was useful for trying to "people watch".

Bradley, 60, asked the star what he had got up to during the past year.

The Trigger Happy TV star revealed his new hobby had allowed him to see some "strange things".

The host asked Dom: "Am I right in thinking you've bought a hot air balloon?"

Replying to the seemingly innocent question, Dom said: "I did buy a hot air balloon."

Bradley approved of the purchase, before Dom had a chance to continue, saying: "I think that's really cool."

But Dom was quick to let Bradley know that the quiet nature of the balloons allowed him to go mostly unnoticed.

He told the host: "You see some very strange things, because it's very quiet, people don't notice you.

"I've seen some... let's just say some interesting stuff."

Digging into the "interesting stuff", Bradley quizzed Dom, saying: "Like what? Like what? Like what?"

The comic confessed ballooning through the sky was ideal for "people watching" from a distance, his rather saucy hobby.

He admitted that he had seen couples engaging in intimate activities outdoors from his spot in his hot air balloon.

Dom said: "Certainly couples getting amorous in fields.

"I'm not saying I'm a voyeuristic hot air balloonist but it's a good place to people watch... let's leave it at that shall we."

Dom's confession left Quizmaster Anne Hegerty grimacing while her costars Mark Labbett, Shaun Wallace, Jenny Ryan and Darragh Ennis all had a laugh at his rude hobby.

Bradley will host the next episode, which is expected to feature Masterchef's Gregg Wallace, Loose Women panellist Brenda Edwards, former EastEnders star Jake Wood and Newsreader Krishnan Guru-Murthy.

Beat the Chasers - Celebrity Special airs Saturday at 8.30pm on ITV and ITV Hub.
