Beat The Chaser's Anne Hegerty's shock at Mark Labbett's bold offer to contestant

Beat The Chasers viewers are in for a treat on Thursday night’s instalment of the ITV show.

Anne Hegerty was nothing short of surprised after hearing Mark Labbett making an offer to contestant Samantha.

As host Bradley Walsh wanted to see what a full house is, he admitted Samantha's 60 points compared to the Chasers 60 points was "really harsh".

It was then when Mark spoke, telling the contestant: "Well I've got to say I think my colleagues have wet their pants over the initials QLL - I don't rate you at all.

"So let's put my money where my mouth is, we want just 45 seconds on our clock and £100,000 says you can't beat us."

Shocked at the proposal, Anne interfered: "You just handed her this game."

Mark then made a dig at Samantha, adding: "She's no good. I can beat her on my own let alone with you guys helping."

Surprised at the turn of events, Bradley says: "Hang on, hang on, woah. So you've given us back a 15 second time advantage, okay.

"You can afford to get four questions wrong there for £100,000 against all five."

"Well you're certainly not taking on four are you?" Anne added.

Samantha then boldly made her decision, telling everyone: "Do you know what? I'm going to go for the five."

"It's an absolute no-brainer," says Bradley. "For £100,000, 15 second time advantage taking on a full house of Chasers. It's time to see if you really can Beat The Chasers."

It comes the same week that fans pointed out the new changes ITV has made to the studio since the beginning of the Covid-19 outbreak.

Fans were divided over the changes, with some delighted to see the show behaving responsibly and being able to continue to film during Covid.

Others revealed they found it hard to get used to, especially as Bradley is known and loved for hugging the contestants.

Find out if Samantha managed to scoop the £100,000 prize by beating all five Chasers on Thursday night's show.
