Bearsden road shut as emergency services rush to crash involving motorcycle and car

Emergency services have rushed to a crash between a motorcycle and a car in Bearsden.

The incident on Stockiemuir Avenue was reported to Police Scotland at around 3.50pm today.

One man has been treated by the Scottish Ambulance Service but the extent of his injuries is not currently known.

The road is currently closed to all drivers.

A police spokesperson said: "This is a two vehicle road crash on Stockiemuir Avenue in Bearsden involving a motorcycle and a car which was reported around 3.50pm on Wednesday, 6 May.

"One man was being treated by the ambulance service - no futher detail on injury. The road is currently closed."
