A busy road in the north of Glasgow was shut down late last night by police following a two-vehicle crash.
Emergency services were called to the scene on Bearsden Road shortly after 10.30pm and the road was shut in both directions near the Forth and Clyde Canal.
Thankfully, no-one was injured as a result of the crash, despite fears from local eyewitnesses, and the road has reopened this morning.

A Police Scotland spokesperson advised Glasgow Live: "Around 10.35pm on Tuesday, 20 July, police were called to a report of a two vehicle road crash on Bearsden Road, Glasgow.
"There were no reports of injuries and parties exchanged details."
