Bearsden police incident – Police tape off street after firearm discharged

Police raced to a Bearsden street after a firearm was discharged in the early hours of this morning.

The top end of Rannoch Drive remains cordoned off after the force received the report at around 5:30am.

A spokeswoman for Police Scotland said: "At around 5:30am on Wednesday June 5, police received a report of a firearm being discharged in Rannoch Drive. No one was injured as a result of this incident.

"Enquiries are at a very early stage."
