Bears WR Taylor Gabriel, OL Ted Larsen ruled out Sunday vs. Raiders

The Chicago Bears are headed across the pond on Thursday, but they’ll be without two of their own.

WR Taylor Gabriel and OL Ted Larsen did not make the trip to London, and they have been ruled out for Sunday.

Gabriel suffered a concussion in the fourth quarter of Week 3’s game against the Washington Redskins after he had a three-touchdown second quarter in the 31-15 victory. He has not practiced since that game.

Larsen, who filled in for the injured RG Kyle Long on Sunday against the Vikings, was injured . OL Rashaad Coward replaced him.

Long was a limited participant in practice on Wednesday and Thursday, and he could be close to returning, possibly against the Raiders. If he can’t go, Coward will likely reprise his role last Sunday.

That means QB Mitch Trubisky (left shoulder), DL Akiem Hicks (right knee) and LB Roquan Smith (personal) are headed to London.

While Trubisky is unlikely to play as he nurses a dislocated left shoulder, the outlook is better for Hicks and Smith. But Bears coach Matt Nagy was reluctant to say whether Hicks or Smith would play Sunday.
