The Chicago Bears are officially in Week 1 preparation mode as they prepare to take on the Detroit Lions. The team was able to answer some questions in training camp, like the quarterback and cornerback situation, but they still haven’t decided on Allen Robinson’s future with the team.
Robinson is set to become a free agent after the season and many were hoping the team would get a contract extension done before the starts. We are a couple of days before kickoff, and there hasn’t been a done deal and Robinson might not be a fan of that.

As a member of the Bears, the 27-year old has been productive with 153 receptions, 1,901 receiving yards and 11 touchdowns in 29 games. Even though there might be frustration from Robinson with no new contract, he knows the team has a bigger goal.

Bears fans would love to see the Robinson extension as soon as possible, but there is one fan who doesn’t mind losing their star playmaker. Robinson made sure the fan knew he saw it.
It’s a no brainer that the Bears have to extend Robinson, especially since he’s was the bright spot of a offense that struggled last year. But for now, Robinson has to wait patiently and get ready for his Week 1 matchup with the Lions.
