Bears Week 3 Injury Report: Jackson, Goldman full participants in Friday’s practice

The Chicago Bears got a little healthier during Friday’s practice in preparation for Monday’s game against the Washington Redskins.

Safety Eddie Jackson and nose tackle Eddie Goldman were full participants in practice Friday after being limited Thursday.

Jackson was battling a shoulder injury while Goldman nursed an oblique muscle injury.

Tight end Trey Burton and right guard Kyle Long were once again limited on Friday.

Long, who popped up on the injury report Thursday, continues to nurse a hip injury.

Burton has been limited throughout practices this season as he works back to full health after straining his groin muscle before the season opener.

Burton, who should play Monday barring any setbacks, expects to have a better performance against the Redskins than he did in Week 2 against the Broncos.

Defensive tackle Bilal Nichols again did not participate in practice Friday after breaking his hand last Sunday against the Broncos. He’s not expected to play Monday, but he’s also not expected to go on injured reserve.
