Bears Week 2 Injury Report: Burton, Goldman among four questionable vs. Broncos

The Chicago Bears released their official injury report with four players listed as questionable for Sunday’s game against the Denver Broncos.

Tight end Trey Burton, nose tackle Eddie Goldman, linebacker Nick Kwiatkoski and defensive tackle Bilal Nichols were all limited participants in Friday’s practice.

Burton missed Week 1 with a mild groin strain, and he’s been limited in practice throughout the week. It doesn’t necessarily mean he won’t play Sunday, but he’ll be a game-time decision.

Goldman was once again limited in practice after suffering an oblique injury during Wednesday’s practice, but Matt Nagy believes he’ll be fine.

Nichols was also limited on Friday due to practicing indoors as part of a maintenance plan on his knee.

Kwiatkoski popped up on Friday’s injury report with a knee injury, while offensive lineman Rashaad Coward was again a full participant in practice.

As far as the Broncos go, starting right tackle Ja’Wuan James (knee) has been ruled out for Sunday’s game, which should have the Bears defense keying in on his backup.

Starting right guard Ron Leary (quad) isn’t listed on the injury report despite being a limited participant throughout the week and will play.

Former Bears’ cornerback Bryce Callahan (foot) is officially questionable after being limited in practice on Thursday and Friday.

Starting inside linebacker Todd Davis (calf) is questionable, while inside linebacker Joseph Jones (triceps) has been ruled out.

Fullback Andy Janovich (pec) will also not play.
