Bears vs. Panthers: Time, TV schedule & how to stream online

The Chicago Bears return to Soldier Field for the first time since the double-doink disaster Thursday night when they welcome the Carolina Panthers in Week 1 of the 2019 NFL preseason.

The Bears won’t play many — if any — starters Thursday and may not play their first team at all this summer. Instead, the focus will be on identifying quality backups and core special teams contributors over the next four weeks.

There will be one potential starter worth watching, however. Running back David Montgomery will play and will get touches, according to coach Matt Nagy. He has a chance to sit atop the depth chart once training camp concludes, so keep a close eye on his performance.
