Bears Training Camp: Anthony Miller leaves practice after injuring lower leg

On the Bears’ final public training camp practice, fans saw something that no one wanted to see: an injury to a starter.

Receiver Anthony Miller went down with a lower right leg injury attempting to catch a pass during a 1-on-1 drill Saturday in Bourbonnais.

He walked to the locker room with a trainer.

Miller appeared to be fine walking off the field, but it’s still a concern for a player looking to be full-go for an entire season.

Miller battled through a dislocated left shoulder through most of last season, which he had surgery to correct.

He sat out the offseason to let his shoulder fully heal, staying as involved as he could from the sideline.

While the Bears don’t have an issue with depth at receiver, it would certainly hurt losing Miller for any length of time in the regular season.
