The team’s interest in Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson had made the Bears a trendy bet to win their division — or more — over the past month. That seems unlikely now, after the Seahawks decided against rebuilding their roster with Bears draft picks.
Where the Bears were the only preferred Wilson destination without a settled quarterback, they would have to bid against most of the NFL if the Texans ever make star Deshaun Watson available.
