GLENDALE, Ariz. _ Bears cornerback Bryce Callahan intercepted Cardinals rookie quarterback Josh Rosen with 1 minute, 10 seconds to play to help preserve a 16-14 victory at State Farm Stadium on Sunday.
After the Bears forced Cardinals quarterback Sam Bradford to fumble in the fourth quarter, they took a 16-14 lead on Cody Parkey's 43-yard field goal.
The Cardinals then put in Rosen, who drove his offense to the Bears' 45-yard line. On fourth-and-5, Callahan then stepped in to record the Bears' third interception of the afternoon and fourth turnover. The Cardinals had 55 seconds to try for a final score, but the Bears defense took Rosen down.
The victory gave the Bears (2-1) a record better than .500 for the first time since they beat the Jets on Sept. 22, 2014, to improve to 2-1. The Bears are also alone in first place in the NFC North.
Late in the first quarter, the stadium's video board showed highlights of the Bills' victory over the Vikings and the Redskins' victory over the Packers. The large contingent of Bears fans cheered the NFC North losses.
A couple of minutes later, quarterback Mitch Trubisky lost a fumble _ his first of two first-half turnovers _ and the Cardinals took a two-touchdown lead over the Bears.
But the Bears defense came through with interceptions by Eddie Jackson, Sherrick McManis and Callahan to allow a comeback and prevent a third upset Sunday.
