The Chicago Bears have cast a wide net in their search for a new offensive coordinator to replace Luke Getsy, who was fired after two seasons.
The Bears have requested to interview Marcus Brady for their offensive coordinator job, according to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler.
Brady has spent the past two years with the Philadelphia Eagles, where he’s served as an offensive consultant and, most recently, a senior offensive assistant. Before that, Brady spent several years with the Indianapolis Colts and Frank Reich, where he worked his way up up the ladder. Brady got his start as assistant quarterbacks coach (2018) then quarterbacks coach (2019-20) and finally offensive coordinator (2021-22). Brady worked with Matt Eberflus in Indianapolis, so there’s a familiarity and relationship there.
Brady got his start in the Canadian Football League, where he served as offensive coordinator for two different teams — the Montreal Alouettes (2012) and Toronto Argonauts (2013–17).

Chicago has interviewed or plan to interview these candidates for the OC vacancy: Seattle Seahawks offensive coordinator Shane Waldron, San Francisco 49ers passing game coordinator Klint Kubiak, Kentucky offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach Liam Coen, Seahawks quarterbacks coach Greg Olson, former Ravens offensive coordinator Greg Roman, Panthers offensive coordinator Thomas Brown and now Brady.
