Bears release 2019 uniform schedule

The 2019 Chicago Bears season will be a special one. Not only is it the centennial season for one of the NFL’s charter franchise, but it will also be a year in which the team will don a new throwback uniform.

The Bears officially announced the schedule for uniform combinations for their home schedule this fall.

The Bears will wear their standard navy jerseys and white pants for their games against the Packers, Saints, Lions, and Chiefs.

They’ll unveil their 100-year commemorative jerseys and helmets for their against the Vikings (September 29th) and Cowboys (December 5th). The team will also use the classic helmet from 1960 with the white “C” against the Giants (November 24th). Their alternate orange jerseys will be worn for the matchup against the Chargers (October 27th).

In total, the Bears will use five different uniform combinations throughout the 2019 season. While fans certainly care more about what the team does on the field rather than what they wear on it, it will be refreshing to see new looks on the lakefront come September.
