The Sun-Times’ experts offer their picks for the Bears’ home finale against the Chiefs on “Sunday Night Football:”

Chiefs 31-20
Rather than throwing 53 passes, as he did last week, how about Mitch Trubisky throwing Chicago a bone Sunday? Play well and make fans forget, for a moment, the Bears’ colossally bad decision to choose him over Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes in the 2017 draft. Hard to see it happening with the ultra-talented Mahomes leading Kansas City. Season: 8-6.
RICK TELANDER
Chiefs 28-21
Something about this seems like a late-season setup for Trubisky to look competent against Mahomes. You know, like John Starks scoring a couple baskets on Michael Jordan. Then you think about it. Nah. Season: 9-5.
PATRICK FINLEY
Chiefs 28-15
For all the talk about the Bears’ desire this week — Sunday is the first game without playoff implications that Nagy’s coached ever with the franchise — the Chiefs are flat-out better than even a motivated home team. Season: 10-4.
MARK POTASH
Chiefs 27-17
Matt Nagy’s Bears will show some spunk after being eliminated from playoff contention — they’re not giving up. But Andy Reid’s Chiefs are on a roll and motivated to build momentum for the playoffs. Season: 8-6.
JASON LIESER
Chiefs 34-20
This is a brutal combination for the Bears: The game means nothing for them, and the Chiefs need the win for playoff seeding. Is pride enough to sustain the Bears, or have they checked out? They aren’t going to give up 50 or anything like that, but Mahomes is more than they can handle. Imagine how fun it must be to have him as your quarterback. Season: 8-6.
