The Sun-Times’ experts offer their picks for the Bears’ rivalry game Sunday at Lambeau Field:
RICK MORRISSEY
Packers 17-10
The Bears’ victory against Dallas was their biggest of the season because it came at a time when they really needed a win. Well, now they really, really need a win to stay alive in the playoff hunt. The Packers and Aaron Rogers are a much taller task. Too tall, it says here. Season: 7-6.
RICK TELANDER
Packers 22-20
It’s amazing to think that even after a four-game losing stretch the Bears could still run the table, make the playoffs, win the Super Bowl, end a 34-year drought, bring joy to all Chicago girls and boys! What’s that you say? Aaron Rodgers? Oh darn. Season: 8-5.
PATRICK FINLEY
Packers 21-18 (OT)
The Packers are 3-2 since the start of November. Their wins have come against teams who are a combined 10-29 today, while their losses were by a score of 63-19. The Bears actually have the momentum — but the Packers have health. And, oh yeah, a quarterback. Season: 9-4.
MARK POTASH
Packers, 23-20
In two seasons under Matt Nagy, the Bears are 11-2 in the second half of the season; 8-2 against the NFC North; and 4-0 in rematches. So tempting … but Rodgers is a trump card until he isn’t. Season: 7-6.
JASON LIESER
Packers 17-13
The Bears’ season ends at Lambeau Field, a familiar place of defeat and disappointment for them. Rodgers and the Packers are eying a deep playoff run, and there’s little proof the Bears can beat a team at that level. Beating up the Cowboys last week was impressive, but it’s unconvincing as they head into a run of heavy hitters. Season: 7-6.
