The Bears and Packers will play their season finale about three hours later than originally scheduled.
The NFL has rescheduled the game for 3:25 p.m. Sunday at Soldier Field. The move was expected, as it allows the Bears-Packers to be played at the same time as Cardinals-Rams.
To make the playoffs as the NFC’s seventh seed, the Bears need to either beat the Packers or have the Cardinals lose to the Rams. The Cardinals needs to win and for the Bears to lose.
Moving the Bears game allows for the drama of the two games to take place at the same time.
The NFL also announced that the Washington Football Team will play the Eagles on “Sunday Night Football.” There is no “Monday Night Football” game in Week 17.
The Bears-Packers game will be on Fox, while the Cardinals and Rams play on CBS.
The 8-7 Bears have won three-straight games — against the Texans, Vikings and, on Sunday, the Jaguars — entering the season finale.
