Bears offense had historically bad first half vs. Eagles

The Chicago Bears had just about as bad of a first half that a team could have against the Philadelphia Eagles.

The Bears netted just 9 yards of total offense in the first half against the Eagles, which is their fewest in a first half over the last 40 years.

Things could’ve been much worse for Chicago’s offense if not for their final offensive drive of the first half, where they netted 34 yards.

That drive gave the Bears their only two first downs of the game and ended in, as you might imagine, a punt.

It’s amazing that the Bears only trail 12-0 at halftime to the Eagles.
