General manager Ryan Pace said Sunday that the Bears would likely have three players too injured to start training camp. Monday, the Bears made their Physically Unable to Perform list official.
Starting safety Ha Ha Clinton-Dix will miss the start of camp because of a knee sprain suffered at the end of the Bears’ offseason program. Tackle T.J. Clemmings, who is still recovering from anterior cruciate ligament surgery, and defensive lineman Jonathan Harris, who has a hamstring problem, won’t start camp on the active roster, either.
Pace said Sunday the team considered all three to be minor maladies.
Bears rookies and quarterbacks reported to Olivet Nazarene University on Monday. The full 90-man roster arrives Thursday.
