Bears linebacker Roquan Smith went to the locker room with an injury at the 1:35 mark of the first quarter against the Packers on Sunday. The team listed it as an elbow injury and said he is questionable to return.

Smith left with the Bears ahead 7-0, but the Packers moving into the red zone. The Bears now lead 10-7.

Smith came sprinting out of the locker room to the bench and went into the trainers’ tent, then tested out his elbow in drills on the sideline. When the Bears’ defense went back on the field, Smith remains on the bench and Josh Woods entered the game in his place.

If the Bears have to go without Smith, it’d be a big loss. He went into Sunday fifth in the NFL with 136 tackles and had four sacks and two interceptions. He was fifth in the league with 17 tackles for loss.
