The transition from left guard to center was easier in Year 2 than it would have been as a rookie, James Daniels said. The reason: he knows his teammates.
A college center, Daniels said the move was gone well.
“Pretty much the footwork’s the same and everything’s the same — except holding the ball instead of having a hand down,” Daniels said Wednesday after the Bears’ organized team activity practice.
Cody Whitehair, who switched positions with Daniels, can appreciate Daniels taking on the new role.
