Bears Injury Report: Sherrick McManis remains in concussion protocol Thursday

Aside from the two leaders currently on injured reserve in defensive tackle Akiem Hicks and right guard Kyle Long, the Bears are heading into Week 8 remarkably healthy.

Defensive back and special teamer Sherrick McManis did not practice Thursday, as he remains in concussion protocol. McManis, who didn’t practice Wednesday, is the only Bears player on the injury report.

The same can’t be said for the Chargers, who have four — and those are just the hamstring injuries alone. One of those hamstring injuries is receiver Keenan Allen, who missed practice on Thursday, along with defensive end Melvin Ingram, who was a limited participant.

Other Chargers that missed practice include safety Nasir Adderley (hamstring), defensive tackle Cortez Broughton (illness), linebacker Thomas Davis (not injury related), defensive tackle Justin Jones (shoulder), nose tackle Brandon Mebane (knee) and fullback Derek Watt (knee).

Running back Justin Jackson (calf) and defensive tackle Damion Square (hamstring) were limited participants.

Kicker Michael Badgley (groin), linebacker Uchenna Nwosu (hip) and linebacker Denzel Perryman (ankle) were all full participants for the Chargers.
