Bears Injury Report: Eddie Goldman returns to practice in limited capacity Thursday

The Chicago Bears got some good news on Thursday with the return of a defensive starter to practice.

Nose tackle Eddie Goldman, who suffered a thigh injury against the Philadelphia Eagles, returned to practice in a limited capacity in preparation for a Week 10 divisional game against the Detroit Lions.

It’s not looking good for linebacker Isaiah Irving, who missed his second straight practice this week with a quad injury. The injury held him out of last Sunday’s game against the Philadelphia Eagles.

The Lions had five players listed on their injury report that did not practice on Thursday, including defensive lineman Da’Shawn Hand (ankle), Damon Harrison Sr. (groin), punter Sam Martin (abdomen), defensive end Romeo Okwara (groin) and safety Tracy Walker (knee).

Detroit also had six players that were limited participants, including quarterback Matthew Stafford (hip/back), who should be good to go for Sunday’s game.
