Bears’ individual stat leaders at the bye

The Chicago Bears sit at 3-2 during the bye week after a solid yet not entirely encouraging start, if only because of the high expectations this season.

On defense, the Bears have thrived other than last Sunday against the Oakland Raiders. They continue to be one of the NFL’s best defenses, even as they deal with injuries on the defensive line in Akiem Hicks and Bilal Nichols.

Offensively, it’s been a different story. A much more concerning and disheartening story. Aside from wide receiver Allen Robinson, the offense has been a colossal disappointment. They rank near the bottom in nearly every statistical category on offense, which is on par with the winless Miami Dolphins and New York Jets.
