The Chicago Bears defense has struggled out of the gate against Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers offense, and it’s certainly not going to get any easier without arguably their best defensive player on the field.
Bears inside linebacker Roquan Smith suffered an elbow injury in the second quarter, and he’s officially questionable to return.

Chicago has given up touchdowns to Green Bay on both of their possessions in the first half, and it’s looked like more of the same from the previous meeting in Week 12.
Losing Smith is huge for a Bears defense that needs all the help it can get against one of the NFL’s best offenses. Smith rejoined the Bears on the sideline, but his status remains uncertain.
The Bears trail the Packers 14-10 in the second quarter.
