ORLAND PARK, N.Y. _ The Bears defense forced four Bills turnovers and scored two touchdowns to drive a 41-9 victory on Sunday at New Era Field.
The Bears intercepted third-string quarterback Nathan Peterman three times, including a pick-six by outside linebacker Leonard Floyd. Adrian Amos and Kyle Fuller also had interceptions off Peterman, who was forced into action because Josh Allen (sprained elbow) and Derek Anderson (concussion) were unable to play.
Bears safety Eddie Jackson had a 65-yard fumble return for a touchdown.
Running back Jordan Howard scored two touchdowns to help the Bears pull ahead 28-0 by halftime.
The Bills scored their first touchdown in three games, on Peterman's 1-yard run with 5 minutes, 43 seconds to play. But Peterman's pass on the two-point try was incomplete, so the Bears led 34-9.
Bears quarterback Mitch Trubisky threw his first touchdown pass of the game, a 2-yarder to Trey Burton with 4:36 to play.
Bears wide receiver Taylor Gabriel was evaluated for a right leg injury on the play before the touchdown and walked off the field slowly.
Howard scored the first points of the game with a 1-yard touchdown run with 13:04 to play in the second quarter.
The Bears kept the drive alive with Trubisky's 26-yard pass to Burton on third-and-15. The ball popped from Burton's grasp as he tumbled to the ground, but the officials on the field called Burton down before a possible fumble. Trubisky rushed 6 yards to the 1 to set up Howard's score.
Bears outside linebacker Khalil Mack was inactive for his second straight game.
The Bears ruled out Mack with a right ankle injury 1 { hours before kickoff. Wide receiver Allen Robinson is also inactive for the second straight game with a groin injury, while wide receiver Kevin White was a surprise addition to the inactive list as a healthy scratch.
