Bears free agent OLB Aaron Lynch visiting three teams this week

Aaron Lynch’s one year with the Chicago Bears may end up as his only year in town.

The former San Francisco 49ers outside linebacker carved out a role in the Bears’ rotation this season, and now he’s looking for a bigger opportunity as a free agent.

He’s meeting with three NFL teams already this week as he gauges his value on the market, according to NFL insider Ian Rapoport.

Lynch recorded three sacks in 13 games, not quite eliminating concerns over his long injury history with another shortened season.

He still proved to NFL teams that he can be a valuable pass rusher, but it’s unclear how much money general managers will be willing to spend on the 26-year-old.

If his price tag stays low, perhaps he could return to the Bears on another one year deal to keep playing in one of the league’s best defenses, but he’s doing his due diligence to see what other opportunities are available to him.
