In what should come as a surprise to absolutely no one, the Chicago Bears are doing their due diligence on this year’s class of kickers at the 2019 NFL combine.
According to the Score’s Chris Emma, the Bears have met with all of the kickers in attendance as they continue their efforts to find Cody Parkey’s replacement.
LSU’s Cole Tracy and Utah’s Matt Gay were two of the prospects Chicago spent time with.
Whether any of the players in this year’s draft grade high enough for Ryan Pace to spend a draft pick on is anyone’s guess, but it appears likely Chicago will add a rookie to the roster in addition to a veteran signed through free agency.
