The Bears experienced their first significant injury of the 2019 season as defensive lineman Bilal Nichols exited the Bears-Broncos game just after halftime with a hand injury.
It is unknown when Nichols suffered the injury but the sophomore defensive end will not return to the game. Nichols had one tackle in the game.
He earned a spot in the starting lineup opposite Akiem Hicks last season.
Roy Robertson-Harris started to emerge in Week 1 against the Green Bay Packers and could be in line for more snaps with Nichols’ absence.
