As if the Bears aren’t busy enough preparing for an important NFC North clash with the Vikings on Sunday, they’re managing some non-football issues as well.
Running back Tarik Cohen broadcast live video from the locker room after the team’s 31-15 victory over the Redskins on Monday, violating an NFL policy. It likely would’ve gone unnoticed had there not been a fully nude teammate shown clearly in the background.
“I think it’s unfortunate that that happened,” Matt Nagy said Wednesday. “Tarik feels bad and is apologetic and embarrassed that it happened.
“I think it’s something that you need to do is you learn from it. It was a mistake and nothing that is malicious at all. But it was a mistake so let’s make sure that that mistake doesn’t happen again to all of our players.”
Players are prohibited from posting locker room videos, though teams and broadcast partners are allowed to do so.
