The Bears’ biggest injury concern heading into their home game against the Buccaneers is wide receiver Darnell Mooney’s shoulder. He is listed as questionable, but expected to play.
The team ruled out backup safety Deon Bush, who left the Colts game with a hamstring injury, and listed defensive back and longtime special teams ace Sherrick McManis as doubtful.
Outside linebacker Khalil Mack (knee), defensive tackle Akiem Hicks (hand, ankle and shoulder), right tackle Bobby Massie (thigh) and linebacker Josh Woods (thumb) are injured but will be available to play.
Mack has been on the injury report all season but has played his usual load of snaps.
Mooney, a rookie, has played more than any receiver but Allen Robinson and is third on the team in catches (13) and second in yards receiving (145). While the shoulder injury probably won’t keep him out of the game, it certainly could limit his effectiveness.
The Buccaneers ruled out wide receivers Chris Godwin (hamstring) and Justin Watson (shoulder), as well as running back LeSean McCoy (ankle). Mike Evans, their leading receiver at 17 catches for 230 yards and an NFL-best five touchdowns, is questionable with an ankle injury.
