While the Bears only had five picks in the 2019 NFL Draft, they turned to the undrafted free agent market to add some more talent.
Before the draft, GM Ryan Pace said that the Bears would sign anywhere from 18-20 undrafted rookie free agents. The actual number was just north of that as the Bears have added one of the more talented undrafted rookie free agent classes.
Ahead of rookie minicamp, the Bears announced the signings of 22 undrafted rookie free agents.

The 22 signed undrafted free agents are the most in Pace’s four-year tenure, eclipsing the 15 players signed in both 2015 and 2018.
Pace has managed to land some impressive contributors in the UDFA market, including cornerback Bryce Callahan and receiver Cameron Meredith during his first season as general manager.
The Bears also announced the release of receiver Cyril Grayson and offensive linemen Dejon Allen and Willie Beavers.
Chicago will hold its rookie minicamp May 3-5.
