The NFL will unveil its 2019 schedule on Wednesday at 7 p.m. CT on NFL Network. Usually the schedule is released one week before the draft begins — a Thursday — so a Wednesday announcement is a change.
Typically, parts of the schedule leak out beforehand, so fans should have a good idea of when the Bears will be playing their 2019 opponents even before the official release.
In 2019, the Bears will host the Dallas Cowboys, New York Giants, Kansas City Chiefs, Los Angeles Chargers and New Orleans Saints, as well as their divisional opponents: the Green Bay Packers, Minnesota Vikings and Detroit Lions.
As far as their road trips for the 2019 season, the Bears will visit the Denver Broncos, Philadelphia Eagles, Washington Redskins, Oakland Raiders and Los Angeles Rams, as well as the Packers, Vikings and Lions.
It was previously announced that the Bears will kick off the NFL’s — and their own — 100th season by hosting the Packers at Soldier Field on Thursday, Sept. 5.
The Bears will travel to London this season to face Khalil Mack’s old team, the Raiders, although the date and time has yet to be announced.
It’s also been rumored that the Bears will once again travel to Detroit to play the Lions on Thanksgiving, Nov. 28. Let’s just hope the NFL doesn’t make the mistake again of having the Bears play a Sunday night game the weekend before.
Chicago will play six playoff teams from a year ago: the Chiefs, Rams, Eagles, Cowboys, Chargers and Saints.
The Bears official website announced that single-game tickets will go on sale 90 minutes after the release of the schedule, which should be around 8:30 p.m. CT.
