A bear was seen roaming the aisles of a supermarket hunting for bargains leaving shoppers bewildered.
The 120-pound creature was browsing at the Ralph's store in Los Angeles - and gave staff a real scare.
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife were called to help deal with the unexpected shopper, who walked in when it was quiet.
Footage of the visit went viral over the weekend as it hunted for the bear necessities.
The animal eventually left the shop but not the area - and officials had to tranquilize the bear outside.
David Balen of the neighbourhood council says it was lucky nobody inside made an approach.
“I thought the video was amazing,” he told CBS Los Angeles. “I’m glad that nobody came in contact with the bear. Anything can happen.”
Actor Tisha Campbell said she at the store at the same time.
She posted video of the surprising encounter online and kept fans up-to-speed on Instagram.
The star captioned the clip: "So this just happened… at the ATM in porter Ranch and feel something sniffing my ankle - look down and Oh Sh… it’s a bear.

"He than gets scared and runs into the Ralph’s grocery store, we were able to get him out with carts.. Really??? Haven’t even had coffee yet".
Local Maria Campbell said she helped to shoo the bear out of the store after seeing it rush inside.
Jake Coombs, a Fish and Wildlife officer, told CBS Los Angeles that action had to be taken for the safety of the public even after the wild animal left the supermarket.
“It was decided that the best route for not only public safety but also for the bear itself was to chemically immobilise the animal, which we were successful in doing,” he said.
“It’s on its way back to the Angeles National Forest for release to a suitable habitat.”
The LAPD says this was just one of three bear sightings in the area at the weekend.
Originally, three bears were reportedly seen inside - but this wasn't confirmed.
