Anticipation is building for the release of the latest Avengers film, with demand so high a cinema has arranged multiple midnight screenings so fans can be the first to see it.
Avengers: Endgame hits cinemas worldwide on Thursday, April 25.
Fans in the North East can see the latest Marvel flick as soon as it is released, with midnight shows across several screens at Odeon's MetroCentre multiplex.
Odeon says it has arranged additional screenings - including some very early morning showings - to cater for demand from Marvel fans.
Show time start at 23.35 on Wednesday, April 24, with the film itself starting just after midnight.
Odeon also has extra IMAX 3D screenings at 4am and 8.30am on Thursday, April 24, with further showings throughout the day.
Also available are extra double bill showings in 2D and RealD 3D, where guests can watch both Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame for the price of one film. These performances start at 20:50 on Wednesday April 24.
The latest instalment of the Avengers franchise is directed by the Russo brothers, and stars a huge variety of our favourite Marvel characters as they attempt defeat Thanos following his devastating snap in Avengers: Infinity War.

ODEON Metrocentre says customers can choose from a variety of ways to watch the new Avengers film, with performances in IMAX 3D, 2D and Real D 3D, with DBOX motion seats available for select performances. Also for those who are hard of hearing, there are select subtitled performances available at midnight, and on the opening day.
