Thai designer Panumas Chirathivat, founder of fashion apparel brand Panumas, is introducing her autumn/winter 2017 collection under the theme "England's Rose".
In the brand's previous collections, Panumas has taken inspiration from the lush colour and sceneries of the likes of Sapa in Vietnam, the Mediterranean Sea, cherry blossoms and the snowcapped Mt Fuji, French gardens and more. This year, "England's Rose" comes with a colour palette -- pink, red, purple, yellow and green -- mimicking that of blooming roses. It serves as an interpretation of the style of the true English rose, the late Princess Diana of Wales. The collection infuses a classical style with modern, contemporary daily wear.
The collection still retains the brand's original pattern of drapes, which helps to accentuate female curves and conceal less desirable features. Within the collection, there are dresses and gowns to suit every occasion from working days to evening parties.
Fans of the usual Panumas' simple yet elegant style would be interested to see a slightly different approach taken in this collection, with the addition of feathers, velvet and wool to lessen the formality of the design. They are now more relaxed and casual -- an appropriate choice for a daily wear to suit any casual days. Fashion enthusiasts can now experience "England's Rose" at Panumas' flagship stores at Centara Grand, CentralWorld (23rd floor) and Lumpini Building 1 (fifth floor).
