MUMBAI: The BCCI will hold a meeting of its Apex Council on July 21 at its headquarters here, in which it will discuss procurement of new equipment and the format and timelines of the forthcoming domestic season, and seek an update on the camps and courses at the National Cricket Academy, amongst other issues.
This could be the last Apex meeting before the Board elections in September.
As per the agenda (TOI has a copy) of the meeting, there are 12 items listed for discussion:
Item No 1: Ratification of the 12th Apex Council meeting.
Item No 2: Ratification of resolution(s) by circulation passed.
Item No 3: Ratification for the expenses incurred towards contribution to other sports (Olympics)/contribution during the pandemic.
Item No 4: Ratification of increase in monthly gratis.
Item No 5: Update on the bank guarantee from Star India Private Limited.
Item No 6: Update on the National Cricket Academy-camps and courses.
Item No 7: Update on the domestic season 2022-23: a) Procurement of new equipment; b) format and timelines
Item No 8: Update on gradation of umpires.
Item No 9: Update on the following sponsors of the Indian cricket team (a) BYJUS (i.e. think and learn private limited), and b)Paytm (i.e, One97 Communications Limited).
Item No 10: Update on BCCI’s media rights.
Item No 11: Update on the process pertaining to the ‘Request for proposal for production-related Service’ for Indian Premier League and BCCI domestic matches.
Item No 12: To consider any other business which the Chairman may consider necessary to be included in the agenda.
