With former India spinner Sairaj Bahutule quitting as spin-bowling coach at BCCI's Centre of Excellence (CoE) in Bengaluru, the board has invited applications to fill the role.

Bahutule held the position for three years but has recently moved out to join Rajasthan Royals in the similar role during the ongoing Indian Premier League season.
“The Spin-Bowling Coach will work closely with the Head Cricket, BCCI CoE, to design and deliver specialised coaching programs and assist in performance monitoring. The role also involves working closely with selectors, national and state coaches, performance analysts and strength & conditioning experts to develop high-performance training plans,” the BCCI's press release read.
The position requires candidates to have played for India or first-class cricket, with at least 75 First Class matches under their belt. Additionally, they must demonstrate a proven coaching record spanning a minimum of 3 years within the past 7 years, specifically with high-performance centres, international teams, India A, India U-19, India Women's team or IPL franchises.
Alternatively, qualified individuals holding a BCCI CoE Level 3 or Level 2 Performance Coach certification (or comparable qualification) are eligible. These candidates must also possess an exemplary coaching history of at least 3 years in the previous 7 years, working with high-performance centres, international teams, India A, India U-19, India Women's team, IPL teams or state teams.
